In Hong Kong, Mugabe Seeks Justice
While local entrepreneurs and farmers are routinely stripped of their assets without due process in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has launched a legal bid to recover a $6 million apartment he bought through a middleman in Hong Kong. The South China Morning Post reports that Mugabe bought the apartment in 2008 through a businessman named Hsieh Ping-sung and a company named Cross Global. Ping-Sung has since sold the property to a third party and is currently resisting efforts to have him extradited to Zimbabwe. Full story here .
